Owen Franck, a senior at Mira Costa High in California, won the Bay League boys title by covering the 3-mile layout at Redondo Union High in 14:38.09, helping the Mustangs place five scorers in the top 10 to triumph by a 27-55 margin against host Redondo Union. Franck, who missed the league championship meet last year after finishing 11th as a sophomore, helped Mira Costa rebound from a second-place finish last season to capture the title for the first time since 2021.
